Fidelia Magazine accepts submissions from YCWI members and alumnae, along with members of On the Road. Each year, we also recruit Content Writers and Writers in Residence who gather with the editorial team to share ideas, sketch out pieces, and plan series featured in the magazine.
Rev. Dr. Michelle Bodle is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church (Susquehanna Annual Conference) living in Pennsylvania and as the owner of Abide in the Spirit which strives to create sacred spaces of holy listening. She is a 2011 graduate of Drew Theological School (Mdiv), 2022 graduate of Wesley Theological Seminary (Dmin), and 2025 graduate of Marian University (MS Thanatology) where her work has focused on grief, spiritual direction, and church leadership.The Rev. Rebekah Hays Estera (she/they) is a deacon in the Episcopal Church and based in California’s Bay Area. They feel called to the diaconate because their heart breaks for the hurt of this world while being excited to build the kin-dom of God on earth as it is in Heaven with their siblings in Christ. Baking is a spiritual practice for Rebekah, and in her free time, she loves to spend time outside, try new foods, visit museums, and borrow entirely too many library books. Rev. Shelby Baxter-Andrews (she/her) Shelby is a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the PC(USA), a congregational consultant, and the Atlanta Coordinator for Service Learning Camps. She is passionate about Asset-Based community service and development, authentic relationship-building across all ages, teaching, planning/leading worship, and working for Shalom for all God’s people. Jane Moran is ordained in the United Church of Christ. For five years, she served as the associate pastor of a congregation in Connecticut. Now, Jane is stationed in Kentucky as a military chaplain. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her friends, hiking, and curating her collection of way too many books.
